How do I do a clean install with Windows 7 Upgrade?
0marrcus asked:
I keep reading conflicting info about whether a clean install can be done with Windows 7 Upgrade. I’ve read that an activated copy of Vista must be currently installed on the hard drive. Is this correct? Since I already have Vista installed, can I just leave Vista as it is and perform a Windows 7 install on a clean partition on the same drive?

I want to get Windows Vista for my computer, and I want to the cheapest one. So far Vista home basic one that. There is one that’s 100 dollars, that one is the Upgrade. and the other Windows Vista is not the upgrade and it costs more (about 200). If I have windows XP, can I buy the Windows Vista Upgrade and have Windows Vista Home Basic? or do i have to buy the the 200 dollar one?
